Question 1

How is bullion pricing compared across dealers on OunceScout?

Accepted Answer

OunceScout monitors 22+ authorized bullion dealers and official distributor feeds in real-time, matching products by exact weight, form, metal purity, and year. Only direct, in-stock, positive prices are compared.

Question 2

How do anti-stale and freshness safeguards work for spot and bullion quotes?

Accepted Answer

Any dealer quote older than 24 hours is automatically flagged as Price Pending Verification, and only fresh observations within the verification window can lead lowest-price rankings.

Question 3

Are affiliate commissions or featured badges allowed to alter lowest-price rankings?

Accepted Answer

Never. OunceScout is strictly retailer-neutral. Featured dealer status and affiliate links never influence mathematical LOWEST price rankings.
